The best part of chicken and turkey dinners? The gravy. Full. 100%. But I was chatting with Theresa the other day and she gave me this phenomenal gravy recipe that is grain free, dairy free and delicious recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Drippings from roast chicken with enough chicken broth to make a cup
½ cup rice or almond milk (unsweetened)
1 tbsp arrowroot or tapioca starch
1 tbsp Braggs aminos
Salt, pepper, thyme, sage or any favourite green herb to taste.

DIRECTIONS:
Pour drippings into a pan, add chicken broth and heat on medium high.  Whisk cold rice or almond milk with starch till well blended.  Pour into broth and continue to whisk in the pot as gravy is heating, it will begin to thicken.  Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to cook the starches.  Add Braggs and seasonings to taste.  Makes 1 and ½ cups of gravy.

Note:  You can use 1/4 cup drippings from cooking sausage or butter instead of chicken drippings if desired.
